The Wilmeth1 family again
met us in reunion at the home
of Mrs Edna Dwyer. Saturday.
July 4. The wide veranda's were
beautifully enclosed with shrubs
and flowers. The spacious living
room was luxuriant with a new-
ly installed wall-to-wall carpet

a handsome new china closet.
Mrs. Dwyer's daughter, Mrs.
Austin Cawyer, of Victoria. ar-
rived the Sunday before t help

The Methodist Revival closed
last Sunday night in Mullin.
Nice crowds were present each
night to enjoy the services.
- The Methodist Revival win
Mart to Zephyr the 19th of this
month. The Rev. Charles Miller
will do the preaching. Charles
and family lived in Mullin a
few years ago.
Doyle Bagwell, Sammy Oats,
Parry Jones and J. R. Light
were recent visitors in Mullin
with the Arvil Adams family
Harry Warren and family
have been here visiting with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve
Warren.
Carrie Henry of Monahans is
here visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
George Ellis and other relatives.
Her son, Arvin and wife of Big
Lake were also visitors here.

The Dwyer-Brileys visited Mr
and Mrs Alvin Hanna Sunday
after church, June 28. And what
a delightful visit The Hannas
are tip-top farmers Their deep
freeze is full of good things of
their own raising. Mrs Hanna
served us delicious home grown
steak. And oh, that pecan pie I
It was just out of this world
After dinner they entertained
us showing us relics they had
rescued from what seams to
have been Camp Colorado, first
established near our present
Ebony in 1856 There were
square nails, pieces of dishes,
pieces of horseshoes, balls and
caps, a half dime, dated 1858.
and many other things They
were found on the Bolinger
place near the Colorado, and
were unearthed by the big flood
of 1936 On our way home we
stopped by to see the Frank
Crowders Their house has been
sheetrocked and painted on the
inside Mrs Crowder has
brought some beautiful pieces
of furniture, and it is now a
very pretty home Frank also
has a half dime from Camp Col-
orado, and another coin dated
1853 Both he and Mrs Hanna
have interesting collections of
Indian arrowheads
The Mitchells. O .R . Ruth,
Robert. Jill, and Jan arrived
bank at the Briley home Mon-
day evening, June 29 They had
not only visited the Beliches in
El Paso, but had also gone on
to Colorado and had been on
top of Pike's Peak They said it
was wonderful They came back
by Lamesa to spend the night
with the Don Vinzants. Since
Don is in school in Fort Worth,
they brought Carol Jean and
the interesting little great-
