Where do I start? I was amazed and impressed with the food served here. This was my first time having Haitian empanada and I must say it was amazing! My main course was the stew beef, rice and peas with fried plantains. Just typing this review I could still taste the vast amount of flavors and diverse combinations of ingredients. Oh yes I had to get some big foot(Trinidad and Tobago snack) as well. Great service, extremely friendly staff, I’m not sure if the guy from the other side of the store came up and spoke to me but he was extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ll give this place 10 out of 5!

They are very friendly and hospitable. Food is delicious. It does take a bit but while we waited we browsed their attached grocery store. Some great authentic items. The location isn't ideal and the inside lacks a welcoming feeling. I'm glad we stayed. We would definitely go back.

excellent food. the door was boarded up but it was open and they have a huge dancing space. It would be interesting to visit at night! The food was very well cooked and delicious! Will definitely go back!

I came to Rochester for an event and decided to try the African food here. I had the fish jollof rice, and it tasted amazing . The portions were generous, and I couldn’t stop myself from eating because it was so tasty. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Should I visit Rochester again, I would definitely come back here. I also recommend trying the ginger tea.
