You are here: Home / Soups / 20 Fab Recipe Highlights for my 3rd Anniversary
40 Comments
I can’t believe that my blog is 3 years old today. I seem to have come such a long way since I started. When I posted my first recipe it was a very relaxed affair and I even over cooked my soup as I’d left it on the hob whilst on the school run – wild horses wouldn’t allow me to do such a thing now! Back then I hadn’t followed any food bloggers but started following a few who were just posting what they’d cooked for tea that night. There really wasn’t much to live up to.
As time went by I started to discover more and more blogs. After 3 months of blogging I was advised to join twitter and then the whole blogging world opened up to me and I could talk to lots of different bloggers from all over the world. Seeing all these different blogs I realised gradually that I needed to take more care with my photography and recently I got my first professional camera.
When I first started blogging I became totally hooked and was just posting for the sheer joy of it, sharing my family’s recipes and then devising my own! Little did I realise that there was a career to be had out of my passion for cooking! Food and nutrition had always been close to my heart as this was what I excelled at during my student days and if I could have been a cookery writer when I left college I would have jumped at the chance. It’s a shame the internet didn’t exist back then but better late than never as they say.
So to mark this 3rd Anniversary I thought I’d pick out 20 fab recipe highlights from the last 12 months. Above are:
Houmous with Peanut Butter
Smoked Mackeral Pâté
Mutton Kofta Curry with Chickpeas
Quiche Lorraine with Slow Cooked Pulled Gammon
Risalamand (Danish Rice Pudding with Cherry Sauce
Fat Free Greek Yogurt Fruit Brulee
3 Ingredient Banana Nutella Pancakes
Emmental Soda Bread
Mirabelle Plum Jam
Quick One Punnet Strawberry Jame (1st Prize Winning)
Chocolate Orange Love Heart Biscuits
Victoria Sandwich
Creme Egg Chocolate Brownies
I hope you’ve enjoyed my recipe highlights. Do let me know what your favourite recipe is from Fab Food 4 All. Is there a dish you’ve found on here which has now become a firm favourite – I’d love to know, just leave a comment below. I’m looking forward to the next year of culinary creation and working with some more fabulous brands. I’d especially like to thank you the readers for all for your support and lovely comments which really fill me with joy!
Here’s to the next year – cheers (clinks a small virtual glass of cider)!
