Bought this Wrangler several years ago. As an offroad vehicle, it performs really well in a wide range of terrain; truly performs in a way that gave Wrangler the offroad reputation. A real joy to drive for anyone that needs a dependable wrangle for all their offroad adventures.
While owning this vehicle, I have done my share of minor tweaks and updates which I deemed necessary for my use. Unfortunately, last fall I sustained an injury at work and as now life has put before me a difference set of circ*mstances, it is with great regret that find myself having to part with this Jeep, and only hope that the new owner will have a chance to derive an equal or even greater enjoyment and use out of it than I did.
This is a four seat two door Jeep, with the door in the rear for the trunk.
This Jeep has the following specifications:
Five speed manual transmission, transfer case, and low gear box.
Both axles have self locking differential "Detroit Locker". This modification slightly raises the sound of the transmission during normal driving, however substantially improves it's off road ability.
Heavy duty front and rear bumper.
Front bumper has a protective arc, also has two additional lights and an electric winch XRG Winom XRC 8 with 8,000 lb towing power. I also installed a wireless controller for this winch.
Rear bumper has a rack for mounting spare tire. The tire rack has a lock that allows you to swing the rack away for easier access to the rear door.
I have upgraded the original rear lights with LED lights.
The Rubber gas tubing has some minor cracks in it, which makes it to where if the gas tank is full, sometimes there is a slight smell of gas that can be perceived, usually goes away on it's own within 5-10 miles. I purchased new rubber tubing with the intention of replacing but somehow never really found the time to get it replaced as it didn't really bother me.
The Jeep is lifted. All tires I installed are 33x12.50R1 5LT all tires are in excellent condition, which can also be seen on the photos. Also bought two heavy duty side steps but only installed one from the driver side, will proved the passenger side side step with the sale of the car.
Last fall I also installed:
New windshield with a new windshield frame
New Inline fuel filter
New battery
A month ago I installed a brand new exhaust system. (I have also a brand new exhaust manifold along with all the gaskets. I will include with the sale of the car).
I will also give with this jeep the off road heavy duty jack that can be stored in the trunk or bolted to the top of hood.
Soft Top “Bestop”, is somewhat old now and have some minor cracks in the back, but does not leak. The soft top is installed very tightly and does not vibrate while driving. Both of the side door soft top windows are almost new, and have only maybe seen a couple month of use.
The Jeep has seats for four people.
Sony CD Radio installed.
The engine works great and stars instantly during any weather. I have regularly changed oil on it. Four cylinder 2.5 liter engine is very dependable engine, never let me down.
I am interested in finding a new home for this vehicle, and hope that the new owner with find in this vehicle everything they were looking to find in a classic Wrangler. Serious inquiries only, asking $7000. If you have any questions, feel free to email them to me and I will try to answer them best I can. Thank you for looking.
